Stupid Love

I know it's stupid

to fall in love

with someone you know

won't love you back.

But can you ever stop the beating of your heart?

I hope and wish

that there'll come a time

when I will meet

someone who'll

teach me how

to value myself.

It doesn't matter if he's handsome or not

rich or poor, happy or sad.

I don't need him to be one of those

cliche things that girls want in men.

All I want is a guy

who'll make me smile

and will never make me cry.

Is that too much to ask?

Now my mind slowly drifts

to a place, special to my heart.

I find myself back to the time

when I know my life would change forever.

He smiled at me. What was that?

Oh my God! I was struck.

But I know it cannot be.

For he... loved... someone...

who happens to be...

my best friend.

Why her? Why my best friend?

It hurts so much. But what can I do?

Now I'm back to the present time.

That smile... that certain smile..

I won't forget it.

When will I find a person

when I don't have

to force my heart to stop..

to stop from beating?

And this is how stupid..

love can be.

Any old place.

My Friend when I think of you.

I think of all that we've been through.

All the times we argue and fight,

Struck by the arrow of Cupid

My smile became narrow and vivid.

Breathing seems hard when I think of you

Your the one who stand amongst the few.

Glancing at you makes my day

It sure makes me lively and gay.

Talking to you is the best

That makes it hard to digest.

But, the worse was unfolded

You and I were repelled.

Played with my feelings

My whole body's chilling.

Alas, rejoice should take place

Forgiveness was made by God's grace.

Love is in the air

Just waiting to be flare and cared.

Secrets to Success

At times when things get tough,

We have this urge to give up.

Those feelings of despair get intense

And nothing seems to make sense.

Distraction here, abstraction there

They occur almost everywhere.

We always try to shrug them away,

Yet they always seem to stay.

The road to success is sometimes rough.

Just remember this line and it is enough;

Faith in yourself is always the key

To get you where you plan to be.

In reaching your goal,

Don't forget to plan.

Take everything under control

And give the best you can.

Avoid letting opportunities pass by

And at all times, aim high.

By doing so, you might get there someday.

But don't forget to work hard on the way.

A friend is like a guardian angel sent from above,

Who taught us how to care and love.

A friend is always there for us,

To whom we can lean on and trust.

A friend is hard to find,

In a world where most won't mind.

A friend is precious,

And makes your life more gracious.

A friend never makes you sad,

But instead makes you glad.

When your day starts to gloom,

A friend's smile will make you bloom.

When your friend has too say goodbye,

Worry not and you'll get by.

Cause even when you're not together,

He will always cherish you forever.
