A Great Day
Is everything okay with me today?
I don't want to be alone
I want to be in places
Where I can enjoy and get along.
I want to move and dance
And let my voice be heard
In a karaoke bar
Or with friends at home instead.
I want to go shopping
And buy my favorite stuffs
New dresses and bubble tops,
Goody bangles and kikay bags.
I want to eat my favorites,
Like sizzling lamb chop and shrimps
From Soms noodle house
To Mang Jimmy's sisig house
Everything is fine today
A bright sky, oh sunny day
My little puppy with me to stay
Yes, everything will be okay.

The Art of Living
Another day in my life ends,
To go on where the morrow comes;
'Tis man's ordeal in life's strife,
To work and live and dream.
I have my dreams to push me on
To heights only my courage dares;
And when the light of sun is gone,
I feel I pine for nothing else.
But I myself don't stand alone,
In varied tasks of brain and brawn;
I find I always keep a link
With company that can extend me a hand.
For what am I or you or they,
If we would leave all cares away
And think that we were never fit
To request help or assist others?
And so if you should know the art
Of living in a world like ours-
Stand with friends and not apart,
For you can never be an isle.

Search
I looked into the pages of a book
And was comforted to find
That many a man, too, had pondered
The meaning of existence,
That many a man had searched
Into the recesses of their ever-questioning
human minds
And found the answers in their souls.
And as I relived every simple
But poignant experience
Reminisced over every line
Drawn from the life of a once
Talking, walking, living soul
And recognized their wisdom
And their truth
I learned and was comforted.
I knew it wasn't the same
To know and understand life
Is to walk through the gateway
it opens for us.
And live every experience
Savoring its joy, weeping over its every pain,
Being solaced by faith and hope and love
Until time coats everything with magic
Smoothing the rough edges
That we may pleasantly remember
And never really forget.

Ebony and Ivory
How fascinating it is to be
Playing fine music with piano you see
Notes joined together in harmony
Produces tunes with melody
Each little key behold its own voice
Symphony depends on what is your choice
Whenever you're lonely or feeling low
Its sweet music is an everlasting awe
That wanders your mind to fantasy you plead to last
And reminisce some beautiful and memorable past
It brings joy and overwhelming happiness
Magically transforms troubled waters to calmness
My pain, anger, grudges and madness
'Tis passion will be poured out best
It's soul uplifting 'wonderfully d' finest
'Just loose my fingers to tinker the rest

LAWS
Like the stars that guide us at night
Decors that scatter in the sky
Which has the brightest among all the light
That was shed unto us with all its might
Laws dictate over us
These are all a must
In everything a person does
They shouldn't be treated as dusts
That make our lives full of knots
Life is full of inspiring excursions
And laws help us in its completion
To pass through the right path
Facing all odds in its track
When puzzles form
A lot of solutions develop
Some might even enable us to contravene the laws
Which supposed to be helping us
Patching the holes in the right way
To avoid these circumstances
One must always respect the laws
To be able to follow them always
Doing the right thing always.
