A Dream to Write

I want to write a poem tonight;

That will make you happy and of delight.

A poem of happiness and enlightenment;

That will certainly be a special moment.

A poem full of vigor

That will give hope to the unfortunate

And will motivate those endowed with blessings to partake

To help the suffering as would our mighty Creator.

I want to write a poem tonight

That will start with a strong phrase of praise.

And end with an inspiring grace

That will make one's burden amazingly light.

I want to write a poem tonight

Alas! Will this only be a dream to write?

Or a dream I ought to do

To make it indubitably true.

My Dream

The first time I saw her,

I felt like I was floating in heaven.

It's because she owns this angelic face

And smiles like a kitten.

I didn't just like her physically

But also, she has a very good attitude.

She's smart and sociable,

And that makes her in others' eyes so good.

Most of the people liked her

Which helped her gain buddies and companions.

For me she's perfect

And one of God's best creations.

After a grading, she did well

Which I appreciated so much.

My teacher said she was one of the best in class

And her mind was faster than a watch.

One day I wished she would notice me

By appreciating the things I've done.

But for me it was just a dream-

A dream which will soon be gone.

My Butterfly

I first saw you with a glance

And I never thought I would ever have the chance

To meet you formally;

And meeting you was what happened unintentionally

Then you talked to me

And I never knew how it came to be:

Having you by my side

Since the day our hearts started to collide

You give me butterflies

Whenever I catch you in my eyes

But then one day from your friends I've heard;

Something I never thought that would be very absurd-

There, they started making gaps between our hearts

Which then started making our hearts part

It made me recall and think about what they said

But didn't even mind when thinking about it while lying on my bed

Until that day came: finding you in another's arms;

And knowing that I never had the charms

For you to realize my worth-

Then there, to depression my heart gave birth.

I started to forget about you

And about my love for you that has always been true

Who knows what it is that in future lie?

But one thing's for sure: you will always be my butterfly.

True Love

When I look in your eyes

I thought you were a great surprise

Seeing that sweet smile on your face,

Giving my heart a tender embrace.

Everytime I passed by your way

Your prescence sweetens and completes my day.

All day long,my heart thinks of you

And I want you to know that my love for you is always true.

One day, I saw you pass by me

Then I caught sight of a sad scene for my heart to see.

Seeing you in the arms of another

And realizing that we can never be together

Time flew so fast

That one day I forgot about my past.

I learned to live by myself

Then I met someone to be with.

One incident of love

That made our innocent eyes meet

Flashing back the memories of yesterday:

Remebering how my heart would use to beat.

Then you looked and smile at me

The sweet smile that I've wanting to see

But it was too late for us to realize

That it's too late for us to be together in life's paradise.

Graphing Linear Inequalities

What happens if a linear equation

Has no exact solution?

That�s what you call inequalities

Where graphing it can be a breeze

In graphing inequalities

One must remember two situations

Less than or Greater than is to Dotted Line

As At most or At least is to Solid Line

There are also ways of shading

To get the points for solving

A greater than is Up and Right,

While a less than is down and left

Graph the points like a linear equation

Use the lines and shade it

If you got it wrong, don�t quit!
