Mixed emotions

Make it real is

the way that I feel

Though my lips can't

scream out these words

All I can say is

I know I'm not wrong

If you give me your heart

I won't tear it a part

For I see that It's

fragile and broken

Just trust me please

I'm down on my knees

Is this all we have together?

Is this what love really is,

Yelling through a quarrel

And making up with a kiss?

If this is what love is,

If tenderness has flown,

I'm thinking more and more,

It's better to be alone.

Broken hope, love's a game,

doesn't last, ends the same.

Broken spirit, love of sorrow,

stolen now is my tomorrow.

Broken life, love is lost,

Broken now and that's the cost.

Twinkle! My dream

Underneath my bed I found a dream

My unwanted dream that was once a failure

Never thought it would still shine

Until I saw it spark, in a new journey

Looking back I see the path I've been through

I see the smile and the tears I and my dream have shed

I came to realize it was a long way back since I started my first ride on my car

My car that had once bumped a thing I call life

Though it had perished, my dream will travel with might

And it will triumph

Yes! A better day will dawn for my dream

My dream will soon be a twinkling star that any child would wish to reach!

The Butterfly

It came in different colors

Looks like rainbow in our eyes

So nice and beautiful

That makes the garden bloom.

What makes it feel sad

Is the short span of butterfly have

But I'm so thankful to God

For these little creatures

He gave to us.

Wish the world will always

Be filled with butterflies

Because it create a tharmonious atmosphere

LIke the color of the rainbow that

Breath peace,loveand happiness

In our hearts.

How I Wonder

By: Mitzi Marquez

I hung up the phone,

And then I went home,

Knowing you were still thinking of me;

I lay down for the night,

And I turned out the light,

But I knew you were thinking of me;

So I lit up a candle

Took a book from the mantle,

And I read of the Antarctic Sea;

And I tried to erase

The imprint of your face

From my tumbling and torn memory.

In the morning I woke.

In my mind your voice spoke,

And I wished you'd forget about me.

And the hours went by,

But as hard as I tried,

I couldn't stop thinking of thee'

The streets filled with rain,

And I fought with the pain,

Why hadn't you forgotten me?

The sky filled with thunder,

And I started to wonder,

If you really

Were thinking

Of me.

Say goodbye

If I could stop the moon from rising

Day would not become the night

Wouldn't feel this cold inside

And we'd never say goodbye

If I could steal this moment forever

Paint a picture-perfect smile

So our story stayed alive

We would never say goodbye

If I could find the words I could speak them

Then I couldn't be tongue-tied

When I look into your eyes

We would never say goodbye

If I can take this moment forever

turn the pages of my mind

To another place and time

We would never say goodbye

I wish our dreams were frozen

Then our hearts would not be broken

When we let each other go.
