We, the Youth of Today
We, the youth of today,
We are the hope of the future.
We are like the sun that rise and fall.
We have the capacity to triumph against all odds.
We, the youth of the today,
We have so much potential in us.
We may be small like ants,
But we are elephants in our talents.
We, the youth of today,
We are bombarded with trials, but like grapevines that hold hands,
If we leave our differences behind and unite,
We can succeed in all our endeavors in life.
We, the youth of today,
If we want something, we must not go around the bush, instead,
We must go straight forward to achieve our goals.
Like an arrow that runs straight through the air.
We, the youth of today
We must never give up
Even of others add fuel to the fire.
We must not lose hope for we are the hope of the future.

Questions
It's sad to think of the world to be,
So vague yet we can clearly see.
These questions I ask with a sigh:
When? How? And most importantly why?
Why all the wars, envy and lust,
If we could be friendly, understanding and just?
Why revenge, anger and hate,
If we could be loving and compassionate?
Have you ever listened to an innocent voice?
Have you ever thought of making the right choice?
For most of us, the answer is no.
If yes, why doesn't it ever show?
Are we content with the world as it is?
This world where we can seldom find peace.
Are you content with the way you are?
Doesn't salvation seem so far?
Our time here on earth is just lent.
Why don't we make the most out of every minute spent?
When will we start acting responsibly?
How, may I ask, can we ever be free?
These questions I just have to ask.
I'm afraid we have forsaken our earthly task.
But alas, this world can still be spared!
Don't lose hope, God is just and fair.
Everywhere we go, God's love we can find,
So when tempted to sin, always keep in mind:
No more revenge, anger and hate,
Instead, let's be loving and compassionate.

Dreams
Close your eyes, hold my hand
Let your imagination soar
To heights never reached before
Welcome to dreamland
Each individual is entitled to dream
Whether in broad daylight or during slumber
Will it come true or not?
Only time will tell
Dreams are uniquely human
the stream of thoughts and images might come true
Work hard and believe in yourself
Dreams do come true.

How long will this crush last?
A month? A year?
My heart starts beating fast,
Every time you're near.
Is this just a crush?
Or is this something more?
My cheeks just seem to flush,
Even though I am ignored.
Is this finally love?
Or just a silly crush?
Whenever you're around I am tongue-tied,
And always in a rush.
Secret admiration, secret love,
Is this just the effect of your secret touch?
With your naivete away I am shoved,
You don't even know that you're hurting me so much.

Having you is a gift,
the reason why I treasure
someone like you.
I believe it was God's plan
that I have found you.
A lot of definitions
about friends'
But let me define on my own
Friend symbolizes a 'mirror'.
Its reflection touches the soul.
I got a lot of friends like you
who are so ever loyal and true,
then count me as one'
Yes its true.
Your friendship is a blessing
that touches one's life,
who brings out laughter in my life.
A cool person and fun to be with
to make it more simple,
you got that humor
I guess you have heard enough
of these from people you
met and worked with.
See how far you've been as a friend?
You deserve the best,
for friendship that is true
will be richly blessed.
And pardon me if I can't
express these words again.
But let it be known to you
I kept a file inside my
heart and I assure you,
I remain.
